Respect
Respect all players:
Please be respectful and kind to others while playing the server as well as on the Detox Network discord and forums page. We do not allow, in any circumstances:
- » Racism
- » Sexism
- » Ageism
- » Discrimination against religion
- » Any kind of Discrimination
Please do not argue with a judgement by one of our staff members. If you have a problem with one of our staff and you feel they are abusing you/others, report it on discord in the #staff-complaints tab or the forums. Don’t start arguments in public nor harass members of the staff team to try to prove a point.

Harassment & Trolling
Trolling can be anything from playful messages, to jokes taken wrongly, to harassment. Trolling between friends, in which both (or more) parties are okay with it, is allowed. Trolling with the intent of malice or offense, on the other hand, is forbidden.
Harassment is also not allowed. Harassment consists of:
- » Any rude, offensive, or inappropriate comments towards somebody.
- » Constantly bothering someone who has expressed a wish to be left alone.
- » Deliberately causing unnecessary drama for a particular player.
- » Threatening other players (e.g. DDoS, doxing, swatting, charging back a donation, etc). These cases are treated with extra severity, regardless if it is said sarcastically or as a joke.

Profanity & Inappropriate Content
Cursing is allowed on our server, but only to a certain extent. Excessive use of profanity is punishable.
Mild cursing such as “F*ck” or “Sh*t” is allowed, if it is with no hostile direction or context.

Predatory Behavior
While any inappropriate chat is disallowed, this server will blacklist any user guilty of the following:
» Offering to send sexually explicit messages or media on any medium.
» Soliciting users to send sexually explicit messages or media.
» Any form of blackmail concerning sexually explicit media.
» Asking for external media (IE snapchat) in any way that insinuates inappropriate behavior.
» Communicating in a way that the staff team deems is a clear and present threat to the community.

Inappropriate Builds
Inappropriate builds will not be tolerated anywhere.
- » Sexual builds of any sort (genitalia)
- » Offensive builds (nazi emblems, racist content, etc.)
- » Spelling out words e.g. "F*CK".

Inappropriate skins
Skins may not show nudity with visible genitals or excessive, offensive symbols such as nazi symbols. No skins of people who have been involved in or are suspected of violating human rights (Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, etc.). This also includes links to pornographic websites or other MC servers (Porn Hub, HentaiHaven).

Inappropriate IGN's
Any names that are vulgar, abusive, hateful, racist, defamatory or threatening are not allowed. Names related to the Nazi regime, or referring to political regimes or personalities involved in, or suspected of hate crimes are also not allowed. Any names promoting violence, ethical or racial injustice, discriminating against sexual orientation, or insensitive names directed towards an illness or disease are against the rules.

Reasonable Suspicion vs. Evidence
No action will be taken without solid evidence. What we consider solid evidence (can be shown in video/screenshots):
- » Proof of the crime.
- » Evidence proving which player did it.
Note: In a situation where evidence is not really possible, but you feel strongly that a player is guilty, do not take any action. Instead, investigate further.
If you do find solid evidence, then you may act. We always encourage you to contact staff about any situations you might have questions about. There will usually be staff online in-game that can help, if not discord is your best option.

Trying to Mod (aka Mini-Modding)
Don't try to do the job of staff members, if someone is breaking the rules please record evidence and report the player.
Making someone aware of the rules is allowed, but don't overdo it by attempting to enforce the rules yourself.

Spamming / Begging
Spam is not allowed at all. This means:
- » Flooding chat with multiple lines of text, spamming commands such as /msg or /tpa, or excessive begging
- » Character spamming
- » Using fancy letters to get your message noticed.
Example: "#$#$ #$#$TP TO ME FOR FREE DIAMONDS #$#$ #$#$”, or "L()()K --------------->".
» Spamming reports, with the clear intention to provoke staff members, is also not allowed. These type of provocations will be handled accordingly to the severity of that specific case.
» Encouraging spam is also not allowed. That being said, saying things like, “say _ if _” are forbidden, and players who do this will be warned.
» Doing any form of instigation, with successful results, will get you warned for spamming, and can result in a temporary mute or ban.
» The Auction House is solely for buying and selling items. Any form of spamming, begging, advertising, etc. is prohibited.
Example: I rename a piece of paper to "/pwarp tp Detox" and list it on auction house for 1 million.
If for some reason an individual decides to copy what the Spambot says and ends up being banned, they may make a ban appeal, which will lead to their unban more certainly.

Auction House
» Auction House spam is when items like (rotten flesh, a carrot, a piece of string, etc) are sold or renamed and sold for a price exceeding its value (example: $100k or $1 Mil)
» Another example of spam would be renaming an item to something advertising or begging (come to /pwarp, pay for my next rank up, etc.) If you have any questions on if something would be considered spam or not, please ask one of our staff members.

Advertising
Sending a server's full IP in chat or linking to other websites, servers, etc. - Keep all links in-game strictly related to Detox Network.
